Teachers and college students who join BJ’s will also receive a $10 welcome bonus that they can use within 30 days of enrollment. The discount has been expanded to include additional categories such as kids’ apparel and cleaning supplies, running through September 4th. Karen Langeland, VP of merchandising for Meijer, highlighted that this initiative aims to provide convenience for both teachers and parents.

Dollar General is also joining in by offering verified teachers a 30% discount on school supplies and housewares until September 15th. This offer acknowledges the significant role teachers play in preparing students for the school year.
